As you may know water is demonstrably level. But why is it that the density layers appear horizontally and not vertically? This can only be achieved by either an upward force or a downward force. Although a downward force like gravity cannot be detected on an accelerometer whilst in free fall. Thus concluding there is no downward gravitational force accelerating towards a stationary earth and an upwards rising earth is what gives us weight.
