Just curious how people believe in the world being flat when there is numerous photos and videos that literally show the planet is a sphere. Yet not once have I seen a flat earth on any other bits of footage or photography. And if I see someone say “the government is hiding it” then I will laugh my arse off. how is the moon's orientation different in northern and southern hemisphere? If you take 3 people, 1 in South Africa, another in South America and the 3rd in Australia they can all face “south” and see the same constellations. Prefacing with a different subreddits mod banned me for posting a similar question on another subreddit. I genuinely want to know how this fits in a flat earth model. A sunrise in Maine is around the same time as a sunrise in Chile. This works on a globe model since roughly half the ball gets illuminated by the sun at any given time making a line. Gravity: There are only two solutions to gravity if the earth is truly flat first the flat disk is flying through space "upwards" at 9.8m/s and due to relativity it would be the same as if we were being pulled down.
