People who are 40+: Do you remember how, when you were really little (like ~30 years ago), in books on astronomy, occasionally Jupiter would be depicted as having ONE thin-ish asteroid ring? What happened to THAT idea of the “space is real!” people? :D

I can clearly remember reading books about the planets (among other things…) as a kid, occasionally coming upon depictions of Jupiter as having ONE ring, and wondering why sometimes it's depicted like that, and in other books it's depicted as having NO rings at all?

What happened to THAT crazy idea of the space-ers? 🙂
